My name is Michael Elkins, and I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Sarpy/Douglas Learning Community Council. 

I grew up in Bellevue and now reside in Papillion with my wife and our two young daughters. I may not be a politician, but I am deeply committed to serving our community. I believe it is essential to ensure that every tax dollar is spent responsibly.

This means that the funds allocated by the Learning Community Council should directly support programs that genuinely enhance our children's education. 

I am dedicated to advocating for transparency and accountability, so we can evaluate the effectiveness of these programs and ensure they are truly making an impact.

It is crucial that public tax dollars are utilized with proper oversight and measurable outcomes. We must guarantee that our resources are not wasted and that they contribute to the betterment of our community. 

As a father, my goal is to see tangible results that enable our children to thrive and succeed. I am eager to bring my passion for our community to the Learning Community Council and work collaboratively for the benefit of all.
